What a lot of people don't realise is that a lot of sweets are made with pork gelatine, so for Muslims, vegetarians and vegans, there are a limited number of available sweets on the UK market to choose from. Couple this with poor quality packaging and there are definitely no suitable vegetarian or halal sweets to give as presents.

With this in mind, we began the task of setting up the Jealous range. We tried a range of vegetarian and halal sweets from across the globe and came to one conclusion - they just weren't very tasty! Then we checked the shelves of every retailer that does stock sweets as gifts and we came to another conclusion - they just didn't look that sophisticated!

So now we have Jealous. A range of sweets which not only look and taste fantastic, but are also universally appealing. So whether you want to say merry Christmas, happy Diwali, happy birthday or enjoy Eid, we have tasty halal sweets that are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and everyone else.
